Bear with me here...
We get Captain America: the Winter Soldier and the public loves it to bits, we get lazyCap and Falcon. Both good characters, LC is a solid top 10 or better. We wish Captain** was half as strong icon_rolleyes.gif
We get Amazing Spider-Man 2. The audience is mostly disappointed, we get Spidey nerfed. Not Yelena-ed, but admittedly it takes a lot to be as weak as Yelena.
We get X-Men: Days of Future Past which is already dubbed as the best X-Men movie yet and Magneto is next in funbalance queue. Edit: also Mohawk Storm aww yesss.

Are you getting where I'm getting? You hear me there? Magneto shouldn't be weakened, only slightly tweaked/fixed or future Wolverine will come after you, and also you personally, Phantron!
No seriously when they held hands I kinda broke inside.

They already said no Rocket Raccoon for Guardians of the Galaxy - not even sure why I'm still playing honestly.

It's probably because they'd have to create new art assets rather than reuse one of the same bases that they already have, so maybe we'll get Star Lord. That'd be ok.

Edit: and I haven't seen DoFP yet, and I told myself that I would just wait until I could rent it for cheap because reasons, and everybody is saying Nice Things™ about it.

They could (probably more like would) just scale down the Punisher art assets and add some ears. Bam! Rocket Raccoon.

I will tell you to wait, though I am apparently one of the only people in America likely to do so. The writing is not very good; one of the guys behind the script was responsible for X-3, and it shows. I think the people who liked it so much have a different set of standards; if this picture had come out 10 years ago, when the Superhero film genre ante hadn't been collectively and repeatedly raised by the Marvel Production films, it might have been okay. This close on the heels of Winter Soldier, though, it feels kind of hokey and flat.

I had originally intended to boycott this movie (as well as all other non-Marvel Production Marvel movies) because I would rather the X-Men character rights be back in the hands of the company that spawned them. I deeply regret not following through with that plan.
  • Even I think that first few marvel comics movies were good and not they have been commercialized to such an extent that no one cares about the screenplay and storyline. They just want to earn money with mindless action scenes.

    That's just...dumb. Was there a reason given?

CA:TWS is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe
TASM2 movie rights is held by Sony, not Marvel or Disney.
X-Men DOFP's movie rights is with FOX, which Marvel loathes.
Fantastic Four movie rights is also with FOX, ergo the low HP of Human Torch and general uselessness of Bag Lady.

With Marvel not liking FOX with F4 reboot (I've heard that they're trying starve them of any merchandise) I sure hope they don't adapt any iteration in anything i.e. comic strips, animated shows & video games. EVERYTHING about the F4 reboot IMO is wrong.

I know, when I said 'Marvel movies' I did not mean Marvel Studios.

    Stop necro-posting though, people xD

But can't you see that the preference is to characters from Marvel Studios?

You can see that Marvel's dislike of FOX is true with the release of ** Human Torch.

Does this mean that the next major change is scheduled in line with the Avengers 2 movie (May 2015)?

Next release: 1* Thing which is just a new skin on Juggernaut with same powers.

I don't really think so. The playerbase mostly consists of 2*s and they don't exactly get to play the 3* Torch often, so making a 2* Torch is promoting the character in a way.
