Confounding Conundrum (support)

Landfall Blue: Draw a card.

When your opponent matches 5 or more gems: Your Blue mana bonus is increased by 3 for 2 turns.

Each of these effects can trigger up to 2 time(s) per turn.



When the AI does the 5 match to boost my mana bonus.
It displays the +3 blue to my mana bonus during the AI turn. (just under my PW icon)

But when I start my turn and check my mana bonuses, the additional +3 is not shown.
When I match blue, it still only produces the normal amount of mana, no additional +3.

    Options
    An easy scenario to replicate this is to use Teferri as your PW.

    have your deck contain 
    Urza, Lord High Artificer 
    Thassa, Deep Dwelling
    Idyllic Tutor
    Confounding Conundrum
    6 other cards.

    get Urza and Thassa into play, flicker Urza every turn to increase the number of blue gems on the board and give AI lots of chances to match 5.
    Idyllic Tutor lets you fetch either the Thassa or the Confounding Conundrum
