Losing after shielding

Okay, I know possible technical reasons for it, but does anyone else feel a bit miffed when they shield, and a minute or four later get told they were attacked and lost points? It's like a bait-and-switch, you don't have the points when shielding that you thought you had.

    yes in fact this happening and taking me form 7th to 12th place has broken my back and caused me to quit...

    Yesterday, the lag was so bad that, I went from 890 to 944 and shielded. But then my score dropped to 914, then went back to 944 when I looked at the bracket leaders, but then dropped again to 914. I kept waiting for a notification of a -30 attack, but the score settled at 944 after about 10 minutes. It was ridiculous.

    Luckily I've only had it happen to me once...so far. I can see how it would be infuriating if it happened to you on a regular basis though.
