Do wave node refresh faster?

I don't usually pay much attention to during 24 hour subs but I just noticed on the current "Walk in the Park" sub (a 48hr sub) that the two wave nodes were fully refreshed yet all the other nodes still had the timer running. I remember seeing this in the past but thought I had just imagined it.
If the wave nodes do refresh faster how much faster do they refresh (i.e. how much sooner should I check them for full points in a 48hr sub)?
