Vigilance trumps Defender (or Reach) [As Designed]

I have observed that if Crystalline Giant has acquired the Basic Evergreens Vigilance and Defender (or Reach), or when the Ozolith transfers these Evergreens to another creature, the blocking creature will not block (due to the new Vigilance mechanic). I think this is not working as intended because if I correctly remember, Defender>Reach>Vigilance in order of blocking. So Reach or Defender evergreens should trump vigilance.

    According to our Game Designer, this is the current/correct behavior after the last change in Vigilance. (4.1 version update)
