Create does not trigger ETB effects. Is that WAD?

Stumbled upon this today.

The vanguard Nissa who shakes the world specifies create 3 forest tokens on the +1 ability.

But creating tokens do not trigger enter the board effects. At least not with card Path of discovery. Will see if I can find some other ETB effects to see if this is related to Nissa or PoD.

A anyway, Is this consistent with summon and cast?
I’m curious since that could mean there is a third method for bringing creatures on the battlefield which seems redundant.

    I was definitely combining Vanguard Nissa and Path of Discovery earlier today and it was working fine, the elementals triggered Path exactly as expected. Is it possible there was another effect in play that you hadn't accounted for, like an enemy Agrus Kos on the field?

    @Stormcrow - you are completely correct. Vanguard Nissa worked with path of discovery in a quick test I just conducted in legacy training ground.

    I encountered the original issue in RotGP (on node 1.3, I think). If I get a chance I’ll see if I can replicate it there but I’m out of charges at the moment.

    Regarding the question of another effect that caused the issue. I believe that I had cleared Gregs side of the board with a one round Berserker (Elemental uprising) so no other creatures from Greg could have been the cause.

    However, I have wondered if I had a leader out. I played with Nissa worldwaker, so it is possible that I had an Ashaya leader on the board, but I simply can’t remember.
    Sometimes, I really with that the battlelog of the last 30 matches was stored locally on my device. That would make it so much easier to go back and check these kinds of errors. (Which it might not be).

    Maybe someone can test out the card in RotGP?
