Wizards is printing paper copies of some cards from the new set that will have the same name and abilities as a main set card - but they will also have a name and picture of a version of Godzilla

yup, there is a Mythic giant gorilla in the set that is clearly based on King Kong too.

MTGPQ version is top 4 cards, creatures and supports? Select them like we do with Surveil?

Also, the Tricycle lands were a big reveal to paper players, but I'm disappointed to see them here. I am way late to the game on this one, but this recent MTGPQ Standard helped me understand the value of monocolor convertors in this game. Tricycle lands, if implemented like other dual lands, would be a step backwards for most gem changing strategies.

This one will probably just be "put all creatures and supports onto the battlefield, and the rest in your hand". The simpler the better.

And the tricolor lands will probably be kinda lame, since "convert 3 gems of one of 3 colors" (my guess) won't really do much.

We already have a tricolor land: crumbling necropolis.
I hope they do something more useful. Even "3 gems in one of three colors" would be better.

This is what I really hope they do.

As predicted, the tri-color lands are yuck.
Ultimatums did the "different card" thing, which I like, and also the "disabled until next turn" thing, which I also liked.

@jtwood I thought they would be smth like Rupture Spire, "destroy all gems outside of the triome", but then sticking to their colors. That would be so much better imo. For example, Indatha Triome would destroy all red and blue gems when cast and afterwards convert to its colors as a land does.

    That would have been neat!

This would have been a really cool actually useful take on these lands.
