Event - Upgrade Cards

I'm player level 19 and was only able to upgrade 2 cards for Joe and 2 cards for Cobra throughout the ENTIRE last event. And that's with me playing a lot and opening a lot of chests (finished top 10 in Cobra Gathering the Troops).  Can you devs please take into account that higher level players can barely upgrade cards and that it takes a very long time?

    I think use this for lower and mid level players and use a different event challenge for higher level players.
