This event was a little different from the coalition PvP we’ve gotten used to....

2 nodes, runs 2 days. Seemed to go pretty quick.

What did you think of the new event? Would you like to see more like it?

I agree with Scydrex7 in every point above - the setup and pacing of this event was good. The rewards were not exciting (although three full packs in individual rewards was decent). The new feature in playing one node against the other wasn’t very exciting but a fine addition. It would be better if the event supports only helped the one player - graveyard gems could be used by any player.

The event itself was fine, relaxing, and economically uninspired. I still don't get what coalitions really do here. They feel like more of what we do individually - but we add our scores up.

Also, this event was yet another event where you have to wonder why they even make distinctions about reward tiers at the individual level. Either you're perfect or you're not. Just give us rewards based on percent achieved and take away the facade of individual rankings.

I enjoyed the event, as others have said here the opportunity to play as either/both nodes, mix and match planeswalkers, gettable objectives that didn't require making compromised decks were all good. The individual prizes were OK but coalition rewards were pretty thin.

My one frustration was the node timings. I played every match apart from when I had to sleep (!!) and only lost three points as I finished a match too quickly but ended up 100-and-somethingth in the rankings? That's a bit sucky. It seems some time zones will do better than others so here's an idea: make all matches available up front and let players deal with their own time management and night and day cycles. I think there were 6 matches that could be played? So why not set the nodes to 6 and let us get on with it.

I personally think 2 nodes is too few (I also think 5 is way too many). Would like to see a 3 node coalition event.

I thought the objectives were a bit boring but at least they weren't awful like RAW.

The actual theme of the event didn't seem to even kind of make a difference in game play, which I guess isn't really a problem but seems a bit pointless otherwise.

Overall I enjoyed it enough I wouldn't mind playing it again assuming the bugs are fixed.

I would also love to see something truly different with coalition events, like drafting, some kind of tag team event (pair up with a random coalition mate and play against two mates from another coalition, even if three of the four decks are played by Greg or whatever), etc.

As a player that can't invest too much Time in the game anymore, i like the short event with few nodes concept.

However i agree on the fact that 2 nodes IS probably a bit too short. It would make sense to pair this kind of 2 nodes events with something like "duel deck" to balance a bit.

Generally speaking, 3 nodes on a 2 days event would be the good balance for me.

I really apreciated the high max charges with low starting charges. It gives a lot of flexibility, which IS perfect for weekend play.

On the negative side, something must be done about those absurd individual rewards ... 1 jewel IS a bit of a joke .... 120 weekend events (almost 3 years) for a rare EP pull ... Yeah ...definitely Absurd.

    RaW is a three-node event.

Three nodes and two days seems about right.

I agree with @Scydrex7 . Nothing to add, except that these two node events are very much appreciated to balance out the more demanding events. I like to have weekends that don't demand a lot of mtgpq time. So, thanks @Oktagon_Support for also creating two node team events.

I think I get so hung up on the awful secondaries that I don't see the rest of the picture for RaW. Thanks for the reminder, I would concede the amount of nodes on RaW is well balanced enough, but the length of time it takes to meet all objectives seems to make it out of balance.

I don't mind the secondaries so much--years of dealing with them have made me sort of numb--as much as the extremely poor reward-to-time required ratio.

That's probably the best thing about Titanomachy. Few games, few rewards. It matches.

I like that it was only 2 nodes. It actually gave me a little breather that sometimes is much needed running a top ten team. :) It gave me more time for real life. And it gave me more time to figure out that wonderful wording on the bottom node. Lol

This event is just 'more of the same'. Some nodes, some objectives we've had before, Greg playing as badly as ever.

More of the same won't entice me back to the game, or encourage me to play through the bugs, the lag, and the load times.
