Wicked Wolf fighting non-opposing creatures when played [Couldn't Reproduce]

Playing with the Wicked Wolf in a "Food" oriented deck, Greg had no enemies out so, instead, my wolf fought the next creature IN MY HAND. Then, when I finally cast the creature on the battlefield, it fought it there and killed it.
After that, it stopped attacking my creatures.

Which card?
Type and Subtype;
Is it related to trigger, mechanic, text, or other?
Which Event/Battle?
BattleLog screenshot;
The Planeswalker;
All cards in the deck and possible interactions that might have happened.
