I don’t receive resources after a battle?.

The only way I get resources in the game is from my own base and I keep spending crystals to recharge my players. When I attack a base it shows the resources I get before and after the battle but then I don’t receive them in my inventory? Am I doing something wrong or missing something

    You have to have 1-6/of6 battle boxes to actually get the resources and trophies. All fights past that give nothing but clearing a space on the map for gold farming. So choose the best fights and make sure the 6 you choose will make you more than the cost of attacking
