best 3 stars to pair with lazy daken?

Hulk's pretty good. Psylocke might also be good since her red will almost always cost 5.0

Some possibilities:
Psylocke/daken/Thor - Psylocke has nice synergy with Daken and LazyThor gives access to green and yellow skills on top being generally op.
Daken/falcon/Thor - Mass passive abilities and stupidly op strike tiles. Thor just being the third wheel.
Human torch/Daken/cMags - If you don't want to use Thor Human Torch is a solid alternative with his great red and Mags provides all around solid abilities (until he gets nerfed)0 -
Falcon and Sentry, and nobody else is even close. Falcon is self-explanatory. Sentry allows you to do one-color team kill (make 2-3 green matches for 7g, World Rupture ends game 2 turns later since you got Phermone Rage).0

Yeah, Falcon/Sentry is pretty much the team composition you want to be running with LazyDaken. Other characters such as Psylocke are okay with him, but those three have an absurd amount of synergy together.0

what about just choosing one for the events where a different character is required? I assume I don't really want falcon there as I'd have very few active abilities then.0

Sentry does what, 600 to each member of your team with his green or something like that? Something to think about is that if you were to use a safer character like LazyThor instead, that would probably make the match take longer, which results in you taking more damage. The question is how much extra damage are you taking as a result of that? Even though you're guaranteed taking damage with Sentry, prolonging the match longer probably results in equal/more damage taken overall for your team (not to mention having to spend more time in each match), so it's probably not as bad as it looks. Something else to consider is that you can always prologue heal up Daken, so the only damage taken that actually matters is on Falcon/Sentry, which isn't toooo bad.0 -

The featured tournaments are obviously going to depend on whose being featured, but in a 2v2 scenario where you don't have the featured character covered, Daken probably goes well with any 3* that is relatively spammable and has 3 good active abilities so that you cover more of the rainbow since Daken has only 1 active: Punisher, Sentry, Torch in particular come to mind.0 -
k, I have more covers for punisher than any of the rest of those so I might start focusing on him. I have covers for very few 3 stars so for now assuming I have no covers for the featured hero is a safe assumption.0

If you post your lineup we can help your setup more than just theoretically who is best to pair with LDaken0

For the average PvP event, I'd say Daken + Sentry is best in general, but Daken + Falcon is workable if your featured character has strong moves. That is, if the featured team is say Ragnarok, then a Daken + Falcon team basically has to match 3 their way to kill everyone and that's asking for problems too. Of course, as long as the featured character is someone decent (say, Psylocke or better), then Daken + Falcon works fine, but I'd say at least 50% of all featured characters are below average (lack of levels + quite a few just aren't very good to begin with).0

Just out of curiosity, how much money did it cost to fully level daken?0
-
Looking at the available roster, I'd say:
Daken + OBW if featured character can cover red/green AP consumption for PvP events adequately.
Otherwise Daken + Thor for PvP, simply because not having an active red/green is an incredible disadvantage.
For PvE you should do Thor + OBW + Daken. Can replace Thor with Hulk once he gets high enough.0 -

I put in $50 for daken covers, earned the rest.Phantron wrote:Looking at the available roster, I'd say:

For PvP I assume? That's why I said you can only use OBW if the featured character can already cover red/green consumption (e.g. Thor, Wolverine, Ares), otherwise having no ability to use green/red offensively is crippling.0 -

I got the last cover i needed for daken from the last pvp and am 3 levels away from maxing him now, hopefully the upcoming daken event will have some covers I can use since I suspect I can do pretty well in that with a maxed buffed daken.0
