Are there still issues with iOS?

Last week I had two crashes during matches - one was an iPad restart (now known to me as the pink flash of death) and one where I had the card art after using NB2 skill 3 on the creature that stayed up in the middle of the screen.

This week for the new event I have restarted my iPad before EVERY match - which is a major pain, but I am willing to do it to  not have any possible memory issues with my new iPad Pro 11-inch model purchased 3 months ago.

I had a perfect score going into this last round.  I'm sitting at 290 now... that last crash was on my last match for the round - so it's not like I just started playing that node with the deck I'm using.

It happened on a gem match resulting from my gem move match.

is anyone else having issues with their iPad rebooting while in the game?  So frustrating!
