Tokens created by creatures cast count as cast (vs summon)

Routes of Ravnica. One of 2ndary objectives in a match asks to cast creature cost 9 or less. Trostani, Harmonious Archon, Clackbridge Troll (even more odd because it summons token to AI side) tokens count as cast (vs summon). I have not tested this in other events yet if it is consistent across all events.
