Gorgos behaving oddly

Gorgos' Fight ability appears to be triggering multiple times when one spell is cast targeting it.
If you target another hydra he fights one creature as normal.
If you target him, however, after the first fight trigger an additional fight triggers, except Gorgos takes no return damage.
(note I have yet to cast this when my opponent has 3 creatures out, it may trigger a third time if they do)

This is really tricky to test since it is reliant on my opponent's board and because a lot of the spells I'm targeting him with give Prevent Damage, so its hard to see what deals return damage and what does not.  But I'm pretty sure something is wrong here.

Update:  Ok, now the second fight did do damage to Gorgos.  So I have no idea what is wrong except that the fight trigger is happening multiple times and other weirdness in general.  Woo.
