Fury in packs probably not happening for long time

As it says Fury only going to alliances and not gonna be in any pack is kinda messed up as we can not level him use other skills anything because only one color is being released so 0 chance for players not in Alliance or even who are getting him to be able to make him useful just stupid for even d3 would think they'd want money for people to buy packs for him

They straight up said at the beginning of season 1 that season 1 wasn't an official release for Fury and was meant to be more of a teaser for the character: complaining about this seems pretty silly: go and find one of the other many issues with the game to complain about instead .

It was pointed out that fury wasn't even scheduled for release untill episode 6 we're JUST got ep 4. patience padawan.

UDaken isn't even in the packs yet. Even if Fury was in the packs, I shudder to think of how many 42-packs you were planning on buying just to pull a Fury cover.

I remember when someone registered with that name, d3isgreedy, and Iceix changed it. Instead of accepting the criticism or bothering to contact that person, Icey nerfed his name into "ihaveasnarkyname" or something like that.

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6457. It's right there on the season 1 announcement. I really don't get the reasoning behind your argument: the point of a teaser is supposed to get you excited about the character when it's actually released. Why does anyone do teasers then?

When have they released a teaser? Can you max out the single cover you won with Hero Points? I'm guessing it wasn't released for our gaming pleasure; it's all about the $$$$$.

Ok, there's the announcement... on the forums. I don't recall if a pop up in the game states that this is just a "teaser". BTW, a whole 2481 people viewed that announcement on this forum, which is likely less than 1% of the player base.

Nick Fury is a trophy that you can put in your virtual trophy case to show off when people click your roster.

53 days from now you can howl about the players that dumped 25,000 hp to max his covers. For playability a 0-0-5 will be on the ultimate tank team with daredevil and bagman.

So ridiculous to dish out X amount of hp for a roster slot on a cover we can't even get the 3 base covers for for another 2 months.

I'm just glad that next month's prize is also a fury. I think you'd have more of a point if this was frequent or varied new characters. It's not that rediculous that they wanted a special prize so they're handing out an early release of an upcoming cover. Would you have prefered getting x-force or IW?

I just wanted fury to have all 3 covers released at once. That way he can be a reward for #1 pvp finishes in the rotation with IW and wolvie.

Both my 4* are covered out and with nick fury taking nearly 3 months from time we saw him until the time we can get all 3 covers it's pretty much telling me I have no 4* to compete for, for even longer than originally thought. Yeah I know. 1st world MPQ problems.

So, you're implying that D3 intentionally didn't make "Fury is just a teaser" an in-game pop-up for the sake of rakin' in mad cheddar?

Noting their general lack of in-game announcements about anything but upcoming events, I'm disinclined to assign a greedy master plan to their lack of an in-game banner saying "JUST A TEASER."

Yeah you got me bro, 1% of the playerbase looked at that announcement. Heres a question for you though: what percentage of the playerbase do you think actually cares about the nuance of fury being a teaser vs fully released? Let start with the people who actually received a fury cover, of which the top 100 alliances got one, each with 20 people max = 2000 players tops. Hmm... I honestly dont see what the problem is: releasing fury in three separate seasons allows them to give players a reason to keep on participating in the tournaments and getting them more moniessss $$$$$$$$. While theyre clearly doing things that the active forum base dislikes, i really dont understand at all why you're so hung up on this one particular point that honestly doesnt amount to anything more than a first world mpq problem of having to buy a roster slot in order to house a new, useless character for 2 months, which is what everyone has been doing with 3* characters since when they were newbies. Theres far more important issues to argue about than this, which barely harms the people who have the fury covers anyways, and reasonably makes sense given what demiurge has done in the past.
