Weird interaction between Kaya and Reassembling Skeleton [Investigating]

If your opponent's Reassembling Skeleton dies while Kaya's "Improved Burial Rites" token is out the following happen (in order)

1.  The exile animation happens to the Skeleton
2.  Your opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life
3.  Other death effects take place (if any other cards have "when a creature dies" triggers)
4.  The Skeleton returns to the battlefield

Now, if I'm reading this situation correctly it appears the "Improved Burial Rites" token still allows death effects to trigger and thus allows the Reassembling Skeleton's reanimation effect to happen, even though it is technically exiled.  Exiling the Skeleton with a spell (Vraska's Contempt for example) does not make it return to the field and does not trigger death effects (which is correct)

@Tombstone @Oktagon_Support I assume this was tested by the team at some point (since it happens to be that the opponent in Kaya's locked node in Trick or Treat plays the Reassembling Skeleton and other death effects), so could you please explain what is going on here?  Thanks.

The Reassembling Skeleton in that node also gets into a loop with Massacre Girl, luckily if you have Kaya's ability out you end up killing the enemy 1 point at a time.
It doesn't seem to happen if you have your _own_ skeleton and massacre girl though, so it's not necessarily abusable.
