Enemies have stockpile?

Do enemies start with AP? Or when I use stockpile do they get one in the color of their choice?

Fighting ragnorak lil 115, I used stockpile blue/purple. First move he uses his power, I know it costs only two but it was his first move, ended up cascading and dropping 1 and a half characters.

Is this a bug or do they start with ap, or does using boosts give boosts to the enemy?

  • I have wondered the same thing. There have been times where starting a fight, the enemy seems to have AP to draw from. I just thought I had been playing too long and was forgetting what turn it was in the battle (but this was when I hadn't used boosts).

    ditto
  • I think they have changed the speed of some of the animations, particularly where matches occur at the top of the screen. Sometimes I think there are multiple matches taking place without realizing it.

EO tiles clear so fast I usually don't even notice now.

Maybe. Sometimes I begin a fight, immediately after I make my move, the AI makes a move requiring AP. I'm bewildered. It's the opponents first turn and he has a bit of AP?
  • I've seen this too.
  • I don't once remember this happening to be honest

It doesn't happen often. I assumed I just forgot what turn I'm on. It usually happens when I'm racing to keep my score high so I don't rule out confusion on my part. When it happens I can't be bothered with figuring out why.
  • 2 things to watch out for:

    1. Enemy henchmen (HAMMER/Maggia) generate AP on their own to drive their countdown tiles. This AP can be repurposed by heroes/villains for their powers.

    2. The Hood drains AP as part of his passive. This caught me by surprise a little while ago when I checked that Spidey only had 1 Blue AP, took my turn, then suddenly Spidey stunned me on his turn. I realized that Hood had drained Blue AP from me.
