Play MPQ on Chromebook?

I'm thinking of finding a way to play without using my phone.  Some of the text is just too small to read.  I've read that you can use the android app store on some Chromebooks.  Has anyone gotten MPQ to work on one?

    Yeah got it to work on my Chromebook.  I have a touchscreen so I know that works.  Dunno how it works with the mouse.  

    Just a caveat, I tried it a few months ago and it didn't work, but tried it again a couple of weeks ago since I was traveling and it worked fine.

    I just got a compatible chromebook but no dice. Are there any hoops to jump through?

    It looks like only these chromebooks support the Google Play store.

    If you have one of those then you need to try this site to get Google Play store to work.

    Thanks, I do have the Play store and installed in from there without issue, the game just immediately closes. Would report in bugs but I know it's not supported.

    What sort of processor does your Chromebook have?  If it has an Intel chip, perhaps the Android build of the game has trouble running on non-ARM systems?

    Good point. It is an x86 AMD part, that's probably it.
