Hit LL before Carnage or wait ?

Based on info below would you hit the LL store or continue to build my hoard?

I'd like to get 5Prof X. My 5s consist of Hella, Doom, Captain Marvel, and Thanos champed. Then my next most covered 5s are OML 11,  Ironman 9, Panther 10, SS 8.

I also hit LLs few weeks ago to get a 5 Prof X cover,m.  I ended up with 5Prof X 1 cover, 5Storm 2, 5Iceman 4. As far as Xmen partners for Prof X right now it's just OML at 11 covers, and if I decide to pull more LLs, maybe more Storm/Iceman covers. 

Not crazy about Storm and book is open on Carnage but we all feel he's kind of meh. I was debating to either chase Prof X now and live with however many covers I get, at least I'll get more Storm/Iceman covers to use as partners. Or instead wait for Storm/Iceman to leave LL and hope another great 5 rotates in. Also if I wait I'll have more of a hoard built up and better chance covering Prof. 

I have about 170 pulls between LL tokens and CPs. I know the chances are slim to cover either of the LL 5s but who knows. Getting sick of hoarding but was curious what you guys suggest.

    Not to hijack your question, but I’m curious when the next LL reset will be. At the end or beginning of the current season?

    Latest legendary store will add carnage on November 11th if it goes like Professor X release.

    for the OP question you have 170 pulls and that means if you open now statistical you will not get Professor X to 13 covers.  You will get about 20 5* covers. If you wait for iceman to leave you will probably have close to 300 pulls where you could champ Professor C, Carnage and the new 5*.  

    The biggest benefit to me of pulling when the new 5* enters packs is  having the latest 5* champed or at least at a high level for CL9 PVE to make it really easy and light on the health packs.  

    Deciding to pull now would be for 5* storm who you only have 2 covers for.  You might get lucky and get her up to 7-9 covers with 170 pulls or you might get more iceman.  If your goal is Professor X wait for carnage to enter to maximize PVE over 5* storm

    i just decided to finish off prof x and iceman. probably pull from the carnage store for the other 2. then i can skip over him if he does end up sucking. at the rate 5* tend to be less than impressive, might be an idea to go after the three that are in now.

    170 pulls plus 10 percent extra for champ rewards is 187.
    Divide by 7 is 26.7
    Divide this by 3 is 8.9
    So if you assume a good draw rate and a completely even split between characters (which rarely happens) you'd get 8/9 covers per character.
    From experience I'd say you can't count on getting a 5* bonus hero from 170 pulls.
    All this makes me think you should wait. You'll get close to a finished character but you may not even get one done.
    I would wait until we know more about the new feature before opening your hoard. You could get a lot of progress towards a specific cover.
