Survey Monkey and some time out

A quick note about the in-game survey monkey poll: everything in the game has gotten so bad now that I'm unable to answer the questions; selecting my two 'favorite' items in several questions would imply that I actually like two of the things in the lists supplied. You can consider this post more representative of the feedback I would like to give.

Time for me to take a break, I think. I had such a wonderful time this weekend on [alternate app unnamed to comply with forum rules], and then such a miserable time playing RaW, that me and MTGPQ need some space.

The very idea that I should have to work really hard to turn MTGPQ into an app that's fun for me (as many forum users often suggest), when there are apps out where the dev teams understand that it's their job to do it for me, is ludicrous.

Every other app game I play drop these kind of surveys, one I play does it at the end of every event every time. Devs aren't psychic, and most don't play their games on the level as players like us do so they are often clueless to the impact of their creations, rule changes, effects etc. have on the game. Even paper MTG relies on feedback. I've been under the impression that you've not been happy with this game for over three years. If you are unhappy, then maybe pursue the games that do, seems silly to endure playing something you don't enjoy because it exists on your device. Wish you the best in your future endeavors

If only they had some kind of webforum.
Eh.  More people will do the in-game surveys than people who post on the forums.  We're a very small subset of the player base here.  Maybe if there was a way for Coalition Leaders to contact the devs directly everyone could survey their respective groups and send the data over, but that feels much more complicated than just running some surveys (that I didn't get to fill out, since it was only up for a day or something)

Dude, that's hardly the point... obviously the poll wasn't capable of conveying the feedback I wanted to leave about the game, and so I came to the forums to leave feedback instead. Nothing wrong with polls.
Hmm, either this conversation has gotten wildly off track or I am more tired than I thought.
    Sorry about that.

Again, same story... Almost every game I play has surveys, and web forums. in almost every case there is an level of separation between devs and forums. Devs do not have the time to spend perusing posts combing for issues or the garner a gist. Other forums are also loaded with vitriol because simply it's human nature to gripe than to graciously thank. It's a very bad measure of a game thus surveys are needed, it's cleaner, more precise and goes directly to devs.

You're missing the point of Starfall's post, namely, that the survey was poorly designed. If they're going to ask open-ended questions or questions that can very easily have more than two answers, then they need to design their survey to address that possibility. His complaint here is that they made decisions for us, which sort of renders the survey a moot point because it removes quite a bit of agency from those who are taking it.
