Avarious Dragon destroying gems not of the appropriate color.

It just happened to me in a match.
I was playing as Teferi vs Nicholas Bolas. I had a Sorin vanguard on a black gem and Avarious Dragon was constantly destroying gems of colors other than White and Blue. It eventually killed my Sorin which should not be able to occur.
