anniversary season ends in 1 day. the new spiderman pvp starts tomorrow. pvp events are 2.5 days long.

is there a second anniversary season starting tomorrow too? did i miss the memo on that one?

    Anniversary SEASON ends tomorrow. Anniversary as an in-game event doesn't end until middle of the week.

    It appears this is still an Anniversary event in terms of the overall celebration, meaning it gets Double ISO, but not in terms of PVP Season. And it'll give Spider-Man & Friends tokens instead of Anniversary tokens.

    Wild guess is that this was done to prevent having a season end middle of the week, and so the next actual season can start next Thursday like normal.

    Remember the old MPQ saying.....  don’t ask why there’s double iso, just enjoy it.

    I mean, none of the Story events were part of the Anniversary season either. The idea that it could be part of the Anniversary celebration but not the Anniversary Season isn't exactly alien.

    But the banner saying it is part of the Anniversary celebration is also the exact same type of banner they've used to indicate an event is part of the season since... forever?

    They definitely could have indicated it better. Not exactly sure how (maybe keep the top banner for season events only, and then make the Double ISO banner say "Anniversary Double ISO" or something? that way the Story events and even DDQ and non-season events that are not part of the Anniversary Season are still labeled as part of the Anniversary itself... or something)
