Should i contact the Devs?

Hi, im a long time (non paying) player who hovers around the forums alot. Having finally decided to take the plunge and sign up with a new email account because my current hotmail account will not surfice...ever, it seems as ive tried 3 times to register. Thought now would be a good time to say hi and ask a question, to which i probabilly already know the answer to.
5am this morning i made a horrible horrible mistake of spending 500hp on a +50% damage boost by being fat fingered, impatient and tired. Tapping and swiping madly away like a deranged rabid squirell having an epileptic fit trying to fit in 1 battle with 4 minutes to go of sub event. I accidentally purchased the boost and in my haste of thinking oh crud and fudge nothing i can do now may aswell use it...used it. Annoyed with myself for doing so now and being some what peeved that ive just lost 500hp which to an unpaying player is quite alot im in a quandary, should i contact the devs and see if they will reemburse me some of my hp for the rest of the tokens (i didnt use) ie 400hp back for 4 50% damage boosts back or just take it as a lesson to learn and do more finger excersises.
From what ive read over the past several weeks on the forums the devs seem more interested in money then customer care (which is still class myself as, as im not saying i will never spend money on this game, just havn't so far) but who knows maybe they will take pitty on me and give me a hundred extra hp for putting the boost and confirm button in the same place? maybe? no?
well anyways im just wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem and what u think i could, if anything, do.

  • No reason not to contact them but, TBH, since you used the boost I wouldn't hold my breath. I know that, to their credit, they have refunded people accidental purchases before but AFAIK not if you've starting using them....

    Yeah, it can't hurt. But, I would make sure you have the expectation that you won't be refunded going into it.

  • They still have no confirmation on HP spend there? Thought it was put in after the millionth ticket.
  • Yeah, its there but my brain wasnt working at full capacity at 5am so i double tapped and v-wallah im up 5 boosts - ooh yeah baby, for the small price of 500hp that is.
