How long until a former member can re-join an Alliance after being kicked out?

Is it a 24-hour shutout? Or longer?

    Never mind. Should have searched the Forums for this question/answer first. 

    Apparently it's 24 hours if you're kicked out, but less than an hour if you quit yourself.
