Yes, I know the Switch doesn't have MPQ but they did just release PQ for the Switch.  Anyone on here play it?  I am curious as it seems it is not as time-sensitive nor do you have to be online to play it.  Looks more like an RPG that I can pick up and play anytime and just progress.

Am I incorrect?  Is it more like MPQ than I think?  I would love an MPQ style game that doesn't dictate time that I need to play it.

It has absolutely nothing to do with MPQ.
Single player game vs. F2P gacha mechanics.

From what I see, I would beg to differ that it has absolutely nothing to do with MPQ.  They both use match 3 mechanics, both come from the same DNA and they both have you progress through collecting things.

But I guess I am wrong.

It is a really fun game and the core gameplay is the same match 3 colored gems with bonus effects and AP for powers.

The framework around that core is a standard RPG with the standard classes and creatures as opposed to a mobile collectables game. Some town building and character development.

Had a ton of fun with it a long time ago on my gameboy something something

I wish MPQ was more like PQ. I recommend you play it.
