Reward drops in Prodigal Sun: Manhattan

I made top 100 in the Manhattan portion.
Isn't the reward drop supposed to be everything from your placement range(60-70 for me) and the subsequent awards after that?

No, only when explicitly stated. i.e. the 4* cover for 1st (and sometimes 2nd) place
