Upcoming Planeswalker Sale (9/12/19)

Hi Everyone-

You may have noticed today that the Coming Soon list of Planeswalkers were not showing today. We would like to take this time to let you know that is because we will be having a sale next week that will include all non-WAR of the Spark related Planeswalkers. These Planeswalkers will have a discounted Mana Crystal cost and these will be revealed when the discount goes live on September 19.

    Maybe a new set arrive soon. Clear up crystal stash and jump in for another stuff. 

    There are 60 pw around yet, and only a dozen are worth it outside set-meta/-events. At least of you go for efficiency.

    What exactly are the War of the Spark planeswalkers? I noticed in the planeswalkers section of the game a set filter symbolized by the MTG shooting star that includes newest pw Wren and Six. What set are those pw's included in?

    @versemage - it is true that PW are difficult to place in the individual sets since they do not have the set symbols in their picture.

    However W&S is from the promo set, which is the second icon in the filter screen. I would describe the icon as a shooting star.

    Thanks for your question, basically this means any Planeswalker released since WAR went live.  So that would include Liliana, Dreadhorde General, Nicol Bolas, Dragon-GOd, and Wrenn and Six.

    Thank you LakeStone for letting us know this.  I had another thread asking for this exact thing and I wasn't expecting anything.  What a good surprise.

    With the planeswalker sale coming up, I was wondering what people thought were the best planeswalkers that have black as at least one of their colors.  Please explain why you like the PW's you do.  Thanks.

    That' easy, Bolas is my #1.  Tri-colored.  First ability is destroy creature.  high health 134 at max.  Awesome.

    Except that his (B1) health is not 134 ;-)

    I personally like B2 more, because of the versatility. He has six abilities in total, which makes him good for different deck strategies.

    He's certainly more advanced.  I can see this for veteran players.

    I like B1 for beginners asking questions like this because he's more straight-forward to play and you don't need the right cards to fuel him.

    Usually at 10 am CET the walkers rotate; it did ("all have been purchased") but doesn't show the sale @Brigby

    Indeed, same here!   

    To add, I see 2 packs in the vault related to Elspeth and Sarkhan 3 which normally are related to the sale of these PWs. I own both so can't check if it's these 2 only. But anyway I'd expect all (none WAR) PWs there.

    I'm also getting the "All Planeswalkers have been purchased" message also
    How would I know if it's an error?

    Has to be an error as they made an explicit announcement that today there will be a PW sale for all pre-war PWs.

    All non-WAR walkers are available for purchase in Planeswalkers tab, after you check "show all".
