Roster Help Needed - All Advice Welcome

I have been playing the game for a few months, and I am kind of in a unsure as to what direction should I go next. I just stumbled upon this board and have started reading and am hoping you guys can give me some advice on what characters to get rid of, who I should start trying to find and what combinations work the best. My typical combination is 85 Ares and 77 OBW and whatever the event character is.

Here is my roster, only 18 characters:

    I wouldn't get rid of any of your chars. They all seem useful, even if you don't have enough covers yet.

    Your roster is actually very small compared to your character levels- I'm currently on the 2* phase and have 25 slots. What you should consider is earn/buy more HP and expand the roster slots to more than mid 20s and then start dropping 2*s if you really need to.

    I agree that none of your characters need to be tossed out, they're all useful (or will be with more covers). Definitely finish levelling up OBW, that char alone will keep being useful for ages with your roster.

    18 slots does seem like a very small number to me also. For comparison I'm on day 47 in the game and I have 33 roster slots. I have :

    7 max 2*s and 1 more at l75,
    5 max 1*s,
    3 partially-to-not-at-all levelled 1* and 2*s
    16 all unlevelled 3*s (no point until I get more covers, the most I have for any one is Falcon at 6 covers!)
    1 unlevelled 4*

    I'm at the point of transitioning to 3*s but that's going to take a loonnngggg time. So in the mean time I'm maximising my chances to acquire more 3*s with a very flexible roster. As I get more 3*s I bump off a character I don't need, or buy a new slot.

    They've said it. 18 roster slots may be deemed short considering the amount of good and usable characters out there and even more popping every once in a while. As I have been advised by vets in this forum several times, the best characters you have are the ones you have most covers for (if you don't have maxed yet). Having more characters in your roster gives you better chance of collecting whatever covers come your way instead of continually getting confused on which covers you want to keep, and probably regretful, for throwing away good covers because of limited space.

    1. Buy new roster slots.
    2. Max OBW's level.
    3. Don't level up your 3 star heroes until you have enough covers to get them to at least level 100. Your Dr Doom and Hulk are weaker than your Ares & **Thor.
    4. That being said, your best 3 star heroes are Patch & Magneto, which make a fantastic pair. But you need more covers and a lot of ISO for them, so it'll take at least 6 months to get there IMHO.
    5. If you want to move forward faster, just level up IM40 and grind up IM/OBW/Ares while you slowly make your way up to maxed Patch & Magneto.
