Buffed/Reinforced creatures

Reinforced creatures don't count as buffed? I mean, I suppose that's a defensible point of view, but then, why display the power and toughness of a reinforced creature in green, then? Why not save that for buffed creatures?

Also, while I'm here, I hate 'buffed matters' as a mechanic. Also 'reinforced matters'. Incredibly inelegant. Very much draws attention to how artificial the game's mechanics are, and how they have been bodged together over time. Sure, you need to come up with new cards all the time, but it's not like you run out of design space when making sets.... this last set, had, what, only 19 cards with Amass? And none of them simply said "Amass X" on them? And there are none you'd play outside of an event which forces you to play Amass?! Plenty of design space going begging there.

I wish they'd color the reinforced, and by extension, the reinforced and buffed cards a little different. My thought would be give it like an outline that's a little more obvious than the Xnumber in the upper right. It's not at all difficult to figure out what is reinforced, but it could be more intuitive.

But figuring out if a reinforced creature is buffed is a pain in the butt.

To your second point, I think "Buffed Matters" works a lot better in paper Magic than it does here.
