Bonus covers (favorites) wrong?!

in MPQ Bugs and Technical Issues
For MONTHS now, every bonus cover I've received has not once been a favorites cover. Is this broken, or is there an in-game fix I can't find in these forums?

    The favs I have selected:
    4* Wolverine X-Factor
    4* Moon Knight
    4* Ghost Rider
    4* Jean Grey
    4* Rogue
    4* Nightcrawler
    4* X-23

    And I check the packs imI opening, and most, if not all are on the BH list. Am I just not understanding how BH/favorites work? Last BH I got was Psylocke, which had a gold heart on the image when I opened it and when it was in my unused covers, but it obviously isn't favorited .. ?

    Just for sake of completeness of this topic (in case of someone looking at this later):

    Bonus heroes are awarded in tiers. If you open a token and receive a 3* cover, you will have a chance of receiving a 3* bonus cover, but it is not possible to receive a 4* or a 5* bonus cover. You are only eligible for a bonus hero in the tier you received the original cover in.
