Jaya's Immolating Inferno - uncastable

I have a fully charged Jaya's Immolating Inferno and then i move a Legendary Creature ahead of it in my hand.

So i cast the creature, then the Inferno is ready to cast with a Legendary creature in play, but it won't cast.


It is possible that is due to the AI having 2 creatures in play, 1 being Hexproof.
But the spell doesn't target, so that shouldn't be a factor.

I do see that when my turn ends with the Legendary creature in play, the spell then becomes active in my hand.

It should become active as soon as my Legendary creature hits the battlefield though.

Were you playing against Tamiyo and had she just used her ab2?
or did the opponents creatures have any abilities to block you casting spells for a turn?
