Legacy packs from leveling up.

Just a quick question.  When you level up, certain levels give out legacy packs. My question is, are those packs supposed to be dupe free? I ask this question because every time i have opened those packs the cards have been cards i dont have. Today i leveled up and got the legacy pack as a reward. When i opened the pack i got 3 dupes out of the 5 cards in the pack.

@Sherry - I must admit that the situation concerning the legacy packs(LP) is a bit unclear to me, but here is what I have experienced. When LP was introduced, I think they were non-dupes, but that suddenly changed (without prior notice). I think D3 realised just how bad it was on their bottom line.

Recently, I got a LP from an event which turned out to be non-dupe. Since I have a lot of LP that I can’t use, I saw in my vault that there were 4 different LP I could open. So on average I think that LP are non-dupes and once in a while you will get non-dupe LP, but here is the kicker, I can not see any discernible difference between the different kinds, before opening them!

The packs appear differently within the legacy vault section. The only way I can tell them apart tho is that I have 93 regular packs in there so I know it’s not them if I wanted to open a none dupe pack. (Not that I have any non-dupes available in legacy anymore but that’s a different story)

@Avahad - you explain it a bit better than me, but I figured that my many unopened LP is a special case, so I didn’t add that to my explanation. Your description confirms my perception, that there is no visual difference on the LP only a difference in the location of the LP in the vault, if you have unopened LP! Not a user friendly design.
