Interaction between Fathom Mage and Walking Archive

When these two cards interact with each other, the gameplay does not pause and other actions by you, or Greg, can be done in the background. 
As they buff each other and you draw cards, other cards can be played/cast by you or Greg, and then new cards that are cast start to interact while Fathom Mage and Walking Archive have not finished their interactions. 
Hope that makes sense... 🤷🏼‍♂️
