Couple issues with Thousand-Year Storm [Investigating]

First case: I had TYS out and a few spells in hand with mana, while Greg was playing Bolas-Ravager and had already transformed, and had put down the support from his 3rd ability that prevents the opponent from drawing. So the first problem here is that TYS says it creates copies of spells but if you look in the battle log it says you draw the copies (I assume what it really does is create copies and put them on top of your library and then you draw them, which seems like one of the worst ways they could have decided to code that). So I cast a few spells expecting TYS to make copies, but of course I get no copies because the "no draw" support prevented. This is further confirmed because I cast Invent after and got this screen:
where you can see the copies on top of my library. I imagine the choice was made to have it make copies you draw instead of in-hand because they couldn't figure out how to keep hand size from going over 6 but they need to go back to the drawing board because their implementation doesn't match the card at all.
Second issue:
Here I cast TYS (this is the first time I cast it, no copies of it already out) and then follow it with BB. TYS is triggered but I get 2 copies of BB when it should only have 1 reinforcement and only make 1 copy. I have noticed a lot of other instances using it where I get more copies than I should and its near impossible to tell how many I'm going to get. It *seems* like it may be counting non-spell cards that are cast but not reinforcing the support and then this hidden counter is used for how many copies to make. TYS says "Whenever you cast a non-copy spell, reinforce this support" but I think "spell" there might really be "card" somewhere in the game.
Third (bonus) issue: From the activity in the second issue, TYS did reinforce when BB was cast and added a second set of shields to it bringing it up from the base 4 shields to 8 shields. However, when TYS was triggered at end of turn to lose reinforcements it dropped the shield count all the way down to 1 when the gem had not been matched at all, considering it hadn't even been on the board long enough yet to see a match phase for either player.
