Bolas2 Doesn't Properly Flip [Investigating]

Used Bolas2's pre-flip ultimate to kill an opposing creature.  The effect did 10 damage to me, and the Bolas image changed as normal.  However, the effect did not create a permanent support and the loyalty abilities did not change to the flip side.  I have screenshots as needed.
