Why level now?

As a veteran player, I finally got the level I earned by mastering my cards pre 3.2 along with all the rewards, I now have only some lengendary masterpieces to obtain (and none of them I really care to either. I'm at a loss now on why I should try levelling any more, don't need the packs they reward as I have the cards, Certainly don't need the mana runes (3.5 million and counting).. So what's the point. I'm struggling to actually want to play the game any more. Give me a purpose to do something and I'll go at it full steam, but having no reason (other than helping out my teammates in the events, I'm not motivated to play much..... Anyone else having this problem?

That's a good point.  Other games let veterans, like yourself, contribute to teammates to keep the game fresh.

    Are you listening devs?

I have over 200 unopened boosters. I would love to be able to use these to help out my coalition.

Its weird though I cant ever seem to get enough mana runes (yes I know I could open the boosters for runes but the amount would be piddly) I still have 9 walkers not at level 60.

And on the topic of the original post, I agree. I have a 99% complete collection but nothing interesting to do with it. Even something as basic as achievements could breath a whole lot of life into this game for me. I'd love something like win a 100 games with pauper decks or gain 100,000 life.

@Outersider - don’t know if you are in the completion camp or not, but I think my response would be the same either way.
@bken1234 mentioned a few weeks ago that the great fun and potential in MTGPQ lies in the huge amount of combinations that arises from all the cards. I second that sentiment.

I would compare MTGPQ to a giant box of LEGO with endless possibilities to stimulate creativity and playfulness. That is why I rarely use predefined decks in events. I throw a deck together at the beginning of each event, to keep things fresh and I encourage you to do the same, now that you are loosing interest in MTGPQ. It would have been great if the devs. also participated in this, but they seem unable to do this.

The drawback to my method is that I rarely get the top prizes, but even when a polished my decks incessantly I got the same result as I do today (due to the random **** that happens in 5% of the games). So I have fun without spending a ridiculous amount time, you should try it!

@starfall - does it lag that much? I may be lucky I got a new iPad last year.

When I occasionally play on my iPhone SE it has so far been extremely smooth experience.

But the game is slow to start and end a match I’ll give you that. It seems the network communication is the main culprit if you ask me.

i would happily donate most of 3.5 million runes to teammates if available to do so. It would be an actual use to something that is nearly worthless to me at this point. This would encourage vets to help new players, and new players to join coalitions.

I've actually had a lot of lag problems in games with multiple Vanguards. It took me awhile to figure out what was causing it, but during RtO I had four decks without multiples, and one deck with, and the one with constantly stuttered and lagged.  Soon as that game was finished, things'd be back to normal.

I run a Galaxy S8+, so it isn't a terribly old phone, either.

@madwren - maybe I have been desensitised, so I’m no longer registering the lag. ☹️☹️

I hate playing against “path of discovery” because “March of the multitude” is taking forever resolving, but that is the only example that springs to mind.
