Cards marked “new” can be gotten with non-duplicate booster packs!!!! [Investigating]

Update - @rafalele have confirmed my bug as can be seen below. This means that non-dupe packs are capable of giving dupes!!!

@Brigby & @LakeStone - This is a travesty, when will you accept that you need professional testers, who understands MTGPQ?

I just tried to open a Standard booster - rare pack which gave me “Commence the endgame”.

I’m 99,99% sure I had already received that card, anyone else noticed the same thing?

I recognise that I might be mistaken, but how do I verify which cards I had received? I have very little documentation, because this it not something you’d expect to be able to document.

any suggestions?

    When you recevive many copies of the same NEW card in a booster you get it the NEW label until you open the next booster. If you open a pack of boosters all the copies of the different boosters of the pack show the NEW label.

    We can see the new cards we receive at the end of the process, what we can not see is how many copies of each card we got.

    @rafalele - thank you, but this is not what I’m referring to.

    Firstly, I opened a Premium pack and received “Commenced the endgame”.
    Secondly, I opened a Stardard booster with a guaranteed rare card and received “commenced the endgame” once more.

    Which I think is related to the fact the “Commenced the endgame” was still marked with “new” in the “Cards” section of the app.

    @rafalele - is this making any sense, what I’m describing?

    Disclaimer, as I wrote above I’m 99,99% sure this is what happened.

    @Tremayne now I understand you. It has no sense. It has never happenned to me.

    Yes, Now that you mention it, I was 95% sure I received conclave guildmage prior to the allegiance update and it displayed as new when I pulled it a couple weeks later.
    That is the only instance where I can recall this behavior clearly, but I imagine it's happened again since.

    @rafalele - this is most likely a corner case, which have only appeared with the introduction of non-dupe packs, so you have to have experienced it recently. The next thing is that is has to be a card that is difficult to get and high is still marked as “new” in your library, which I assume all your cards are not.

    So with the introduction of the Sparks set there is a higher chance of identifying this issue, because many packs are opened at the same time and mostly all cards are marked “new”. With the state of the testing done on this game I feel is warranted to question if this has been tested by the devs.

    I raise the question in order for other players to recount their experiences like @Mcclaine did above. Also it enables D3 to rebut and not be accused of false advertising or cheating the consumers.

    @Tremayne I have reviewed my library and it is happenning to me right now with the mythic blue whale of the Kaladesh days that I have openned over three weeks ago and have played with it many batlles.

    So this is not a bug that warrant any attention from D3?

    Update for anyone interested.

    Customer service (CS) has investigated and replied to my support ticket. CS have been unable to find any issues with my account. I have chosen to accept their answer, since I’m unable to provide any proof of wrongdoing from D3/Octagon.

    However, I’m sure I had received the card Commence the endgame before getting it in the non-dupe pack and that perception has not left me after accepting the response from CS.

    Sadly the current setup makes it impossible for me to collect any kind of evidence, which would document transaction issues. I hope that you will consider a new feature which supplied additional information on  how and when cards entered into my library.
