"Proliferate
Cards with Proliferate will bolster and provide extra value to decks, particularly ones focused around Loyalty abilities and Vanguards. For example, Proliferate may grant bonus Loyalty, increase Vanguard support shields, and/or give Creatures buffs."

In looking at the actual cards, this is confusing...  The cards just say "Proliferate" and expect that means something, the description is that it "may grant..."

The other abilities either mean something specific (Amass) or call out what they mean on each card (Partner).

I know proliferate in paper can do all kinds of things but that's because it copies any existing counter on the board and then lets you put that anywhere...

I'm hoping that Proliferate means something specific and we just don't have the right definition yet?

    • Maybe it's "Each Vanguard support gains one shield, each buffed creature gains +1/+1, and your planeswalker gains X loyalty" or something.  It's still touching on three different things all at once.
    • Maybe it's like the choice cards and you have to pick one of the three things when you activate?
    • Or maybe it's like how they attempted to do the choice cards at first and it "Does A, unless it cannot, then it does B unless it cannot, then it does C", which then looks a bit like the chaos the initial description we were given...

Hi Everyone. I just double checked, and this is how Proliferate reads: "When you Proliferate, gain 1 Loyalty. Then, your buffed creatures get +1/+1 and your Vanguard supports gain 1 shield."

I'll go ahead and update the articles to reflect that info.
