Interesting objectives

First off, this post is not intended as sarcasm.
In HoD last week, there was a bug that caused one objective to change to "kill 3 or more Zombies".
Now, I think that this particular objective is a bit silly, since the range of deckbuilding it allows for is extremely narrow.
Also, it clearly should have been announced as such, but I'm writing that up as "yet another bug".
However, I'd say that building for this objective and playing is the most amount of fun I've had with MTGPQ in recent months. Instead of running simple loop decks, I now had to be very mindful about my deckbuilding, think about my plays and time them carefully to reach the objectives before my win. Thanks! (even though I'm guessing it was unintentional).
Also, the event seems to have a much lower than normal perfect scores, and even with my somewhat poor showing (X-4 at the time of writing), I may make top 25.
What am I leading to here? Well, I think we need new events with difficult objectives (but still leaving some more room open for deckbuilding), and a varied set of objectives. I'm _not_ asking for new fancy events with a lot of flavor and special abilities. I'd be perfectly fine with having a "fixed" event with "random" objectives (changing on each iteration between all of the possible ones), ran every other weekend. Prize packs should also be the latest set, similar to how TOTP does that. Just announce the objectives in the event thread on the forums, so we can plan accordingly. Such an event would cause a lot of engagement (at least, in my coalition).

The risk of this will be people running their regular top decks meaning they will lose the 1 point objective but won't **** their decks. This will make it tougher to win for the decks trying to get difficult objectives.
The best thing to do for this I think is either make objectives give more ribbons than winning does or to not award points for winning. We had this once before during Ixalan early days as a bug but I loved this. It rewards people going for objectives.0 -
We've been asking for something like that for ages now. Just new objectives and colors every once in a while.
The devs responded with "new events is a low priority for us"
I doubt that's changed in the months since (not like we could know, since they don't communicate at all)0 -
I wish they would replace the points for winning with a third objective. I also wish that you got points for partially completed objectives and that you got points even if you lost. So if the objective was cast 5 zombies and you cast 3 before losing I'd like to see you get 3 points for that.1

Rotating objectives would go a long way towards refreshing stagnant PVP events. We have asked several times.

Rotate colors even if it makes the objective seemingly unachievable. Maybe someone figures out a crazy clever way to do it.0
