The bottom right node, every time this damn event comes up, errors when you finish the match

This game sucks ****.

Locked up when it wanted me to replace one of my creatures....   There goes my PERFECT score.  Not sure how they want us to deal with this?  I only have one response... RAAAAAGGGEEE.   :disappointed:

Second Freeze, Oath of Tefari and a knight token?   Cmon, that isn't even something I knew would cause a freeze....

First game of this event - freeze.

Why do they insist on running bugged events????

Oh wait - the whole game is bugged, so I guess we’d have nothing to do otherwise.

And no compensation either. Just incredible.

Soft lock after opening pause menu in my turn.

Bottom right event, locked up, any card that requires me to select a creature to copy or kick, locks up.

The loop prevention message pops up, and it stays locked up.

Same thing here, soft lock on selecting a target casting beacon bolt.

It appears to be the nature of this game. So that’s probably the price you need to pay = lock, crashes, bugs, ignored communication, stale content, implementation of things no one wanted, no compensation for dev mistakes/game not working, etc. and the two most expensive commodities of all: your time and your frustration.

Yes, I’m currently not happy with the state of this game. I have been repeating these points time and again and have yet to receive a single communication from the devs, D3 and Brigby on these matters.

This has been going on for months now. All the major, game breaking issues are being ignored and instead we are hearing about how 3.4 will be yet another patch job. Just incredible.

The only thing left to do for me is quit this game.

It’s a shame as I’ve been here for almost 3 years (2 in the forums), prior to this set I was 25 masterpieces short of a complete collection, I lead a coalition that has moved up over 25 positions in the past few months and we’re hitting top 20 for every event now, our sister coalition routinely hits top 5.

I wish everyone the best in this game. This will be my last post in these forums. I’m out. Adios. Farewell. Bye!

@Brigby: I honestly wonder what goes on in your mind if you read @Froggy's post or any other player leaving this game because of its current state. Care to comment on that? Can you give us some insights on what the current priorities are of the dev team?

Aaaaand that about does it for me as well. Perfect score with only a few games left to play, got a freeze playing the bottom right node when an Etrata exiled a small stack of thopters... proceeded to finish all the rest of my games for full points for a perfect score of 528. So now instead of a guaranteed 220 jewels, I might get 100 jewels if I'm lucky. It wouldn't surprise me if I end up getting only 60. I think it's cute that you (the devs) continue to turn a blind eye to the sheer amount of frustration this causes players. If you figure each game takes 5 mins (lol yea right, each game takes close to 2 mins just for loading before and after the match), that means I spent close to 4 hours playing this damn event. For what? Just to get **** on by your endless **** bugs? No thanks. I'll probably play the next **** coalition event next weekend (which is easily over 2 years old by now) just to give my team some time to replace me but I am done with this game. I'm also filing a complaint with Google about the bugginess of this game. I bet their customer service can review any video I send them.

Lost my perfect to a Not Now bug on the bottom left node.  Feels pretty bad to miss out on first place because of a crucial bug that they say they've fixed but haven't bothered to release a patch for yet.  I know I wouldn't look forward to the meeting with my bosses if one of my users failed to complete something because I left a known bug in production for several weeks.  At least this application is only a game and not something important.

You may or may not be surprised, but I experience a whole range of emotions each time I read posts like those; anything from sadness and empathy all the way to frustration. That's because not only am I the Community Manager for the game, but I am also a player just like all of you. (Albeit not at that Platinum level just yet) I don't credit myself anything using Debug either. I start with a blank slate so I know exactly what players go through in the game.

Just like all of you, I've also experienced the occasional soft-lock and it can be frustrating, of course. At the same time though, since I work directly with the rest of our team, I also am aware of the challenges of solving those major concerns. A lot of the times it's not a matter of whether or not they can address it, but rather how quickly they're able to address it. A lot of factors play into its time-frame, since everything in development is on a schedule. If something gets added, then something else needs to be pushed back, which means the benefit of accommodating this addition must outweigh the detriment of delaying a major feature.

For example, due to the feedback on the game's stability, the team has decided to push the Seasons feature to a later update, in order to replace its update with Game Performance Optimization and Loading Time improvements.

So it's certainly not that our team doesn't care about these player issues, but rather it's a major challenge being able to address them in a timely manner. This is especially true when a lot of high priority features have already been scheduled beforehand.

For example, if a lot of time is spent addressing infinite loops that weren't really a problem, at least not for every single player in the game, then there is not enough time left to spend fixing freezes that affect every single player in the game. Try playing a creature that is buffed by On Serra's Wings and then try casting a spell that requires a target.

Thanks for sharing your view and feelings. Appreciate it. This confirms that resources ARE scarce and that the right priority should be appointed to all the tasks at hand. Implementing features nobody asks for is a waste of resources imho. The game really needs to be worked on in terms of stability / reliability. You've seen the exodus of players, the spouting of disappointment, the loss of points / rewards, etc. These are all BASIC functionalities of which players should be able to assume work as expected. Currently, that is not true and that makes things shaky, to say the least...

Also, a bit more communication about what is going on in the dev team and involving the player base would be a huge improvement.

We've seen quite a number of players who left the game, including long-time veterans. The longer the status quo is maintained, the more unhappy players you will see and possibly quit this game.

Edit: My last two coalition events were without bugs and freezes, but that seems to be luck / at a random base. Some of my team mates were affected by them, causing them to lose a perfect streak and a huge amount of jewels.

I find it hard to believe that the devs are so disconnected from their own game that they don't seem to be able to see the problems at hand. I lost my faith in both their competence and intention, regardless of whether it's their or d3s fault. I gave up the competitive play, I gave up my work behind the scenes to lead one of the most successful groups here. I'm a customer, but feels like an unwanted beggar. If I'd act like that, I'd lose my job within a week tops.
