Free booster purchase locks up the vault - no cards received!!! [Fixed]

three times within the last 30 hours or so have the “purchase” of the free booster pack locked the vault interface.

The interface in the vault disables the menu and does not initiate the opening of the booster pack. Nothing is available and the only option is to close the app and reopen it.

I do not receive any cards from the booster pack, but the vault has reset the timer, so I can wait another 6 hours before I try again! 🤮

I’m on a cellular internet connection, but I do not have any problems on any other apps accessing the internet.

    It happened but the orbs and runes still get added.

    I noticed this as well yesterday, around the time I had received a basic booster from an event.
    Seems like a force close fixed the issue though.

    I’ve had this happen twice.  Not sure if I got the runes and orbs.

     I have to restart the app every time it happens

    I just had this happen (for about the fourth time), but was able to escape the freeze by going into the view cards menu, selecting a card, then using card finder to reload the vault properly.

    Hi Daiane. Thank you for looking into this issue. 

    Not to be difficult, but buying boosters is such a common activity in this app that verifying missing cards after purchase is impossible.

    All I could determine after realising the vault had crashed, was that I didn’t get credited any orbs or runes after restarting the app. But did I get them before? No way to settle that.

    someone wrote they did get them. How they were able to determine that I do not know.

    So glad to see I am not the only one.  I had the same experience as Starfall.  Didn't freeze the game, but would do nothing beyond showing a button press.  When leaving the vault, card conversion screen indicated cards converted into 0 resources.  It did work for me this morning though, so only lasted for a day and a half for me.

    Happened to me three times in a row now.

    I have a regular WLAN connection - so most probably this is no internet connection issue.
    But may be an issue with the timer - meaning the counter reset may lead to a blocking of getting actually the cards:
    I had even two basic boosters - one time triggered, the other one won in one of the events.
    Opening the first booster worked fine and the 2nd led to the lock up.

    Hence the idea that the time counter could be responsible for the lock up.

    Had it happen to me again, now on WiFi. This time I saw I did get the runes.

    I know I got the runes.  I’m not sure about the orbs but I’ll try to remember to check next time.

    The free booster pack froze for me again.

    Before opening the pack I had: 560 Runes 600 Orbs and 0 cards containing the "New"text  overlay in the cards menu.
    After opening the pack and re-opening the game following the freeze I had: 580 runes, 610 Orbs and 0 cards with the "New" overlay.

    Free pack is always freezing.
    I think it started when the new set became 'not so new' a few days ago
