Should one turn wins be a thing?

No, never. This is a turn based game!
How would you have written the
Options without making it overly complex?

The nerfs for standard to make one turn wins highly unlikely would target only one specific card.. Well, and to re-fix a broken, already nerfed, furtherly nerfed, but then un-nerfed two card combo of course.

For legacy I agree. All the broken conversion /draw combos can't easily be fixed but would require a lot of fine-tuning.

I don't think Laeuftbeidir meant specifically regarding Greg. Just generally, should a deck possible of that win even exist?

Personally, I don't think a turn 1 win should ever happen, even with the most ideal conditions. But I know there are a lot that would disagree with that (maybe most) and feel the game is about building your deck and letting it run to see what happens without much involvement in the part of the game with your opponent. I like the back and forth, casting and responding to your opponents threats rather than casting a card that starts a combo you walk away from and come back to a victory screen. It does make for a longer game though, and everybody has different amounts of time to play. Outside of designing different formats, they have to just pick whatever covers as many (paying, which probably happens significantly more when high-powered cards are available) customers as they can.
Lets make a distinction between a turn one win (where the opponent doesnt get to play at all)  and a one turn win where your setup pays off in such an amount of damage that you have lethal damage in one turn (even if that is turn nine in the game)

You are right there is a distinct difference on 'one turn win requiring setup' and 'turn one win', and when reading the thread I wasn't focusing much on that. Rereading the OP I think he was using them both interchangeably, but actually meant winning before the opponent has a chance to play. I think the winning in one turn but requiring some time for a setup is just fine; being able to win on turn 1 is not w/o letting rngsus take the wheel.

To make this a bit more precise : I'm talking about decks that have the potential to win the turn you get the cards in hand that sets the combo off. The setup doesn't matter here (if I'd collect 6 grs and cast them in one turn at turn 84, that's not what I mean). Turn one wins always need some luck to have the necessary pieces and the right board, that's why I made it broader. Most turn 3 decks can win on the first turn as well

I like one turn wins -- I even like losing to them because usually I see some kind of combo or crazy thing I've never thought of.

I think there should be another option for "YES, we need more!!!"
