Why are we getting penalized for the game glitching out?

Many times I had it when doing events that the game would glitch out, whether it be the game freezing or the game reading me drag a card instead of letting me choose a card. The only way for me to get out of the glitch is to exit the game. The problem is the game reads us exiting the game as if we lost (using up a node), which I think is completely unfair. Why not give us the option to go back into the same fight? Until we actually lose or surrender, why are we getting punished for when the game glitches out?

    I agree that this is frustrating, howerver I can also see that they have to do something else you could force quit the app when you're about to lose and get another try at the node. I will say that it would be nice, though, if your planeswalker didn't go to 0 health when this happens, At least if you lose the match, heal the planeswalker so you can go again.
