Beckett or control creature bugged in Node 1.3 Battle of Four Tribes

PW was Angrath but I never used his abilities.
Deck was murder, vona's hunger, journey to eternity, captain lannery, thaumatic compass, dire fleet poisoner, admiral beckett, storm the vault, eldest reborn, rupture spire.
I had poisoner, beckett and a stolen captivating crew on the board, nothing on his side.  Storm the vault made a large match and the sparkle animation started going crazy on Beckett. Things were slow, but it allowed me to match gems and complete my attacks eventually, the sparkle pulse never stopped.  on his turn he dropped a Beckett also, which my guys stole and then the sparkle pulse effect on Beckett appeared to stop me from doing anything.  Murder was charged but disabled, so the spell popped up but select/not now showed the button press animation but no effect.  I saw a popup about loop prevention kicking in with a timer, but that never happened and the only thing I could do is go to chat or quit.  Had to toss the match, he was at 4 health to my no dmg.
