Cinderwind infinite loop on being destroyed

Hello-  I’ve run into an infinite loop involving Cinderwind.  I destroyed the opponents Condereind support with Rupture Spire, and now the opponent is trying over and over to target one of my supports per the cards effects.  Over and over a bolt comes from the opponent, hits my support, there is a blow up animation, the support stays there and it tries again, and again, and again.
