Game crash when showing 3rd card at the beginning

When the game starts the first card drawn (the 3rd card you start with) is shown on screen.
Before that I was hitting the button at the bottom to check what the goals for the match are.
The result was that the overview window did not pop up - but the drawn card and the game was frozen.
No action possible at all anymore.

Additional question:
Should the display of the 3rd card not be bypassed when I select to not show card animnations?.
