Naru + Quasiduplicate = infinite Loop

Now copied spells and creatures can be cast at the same turn, So Naru enters the battlefield, Quasiduplicate gets a full mana copy, it´s cast, copies Naru, Naru enter the battlefield.... and it´' keeping going.

Did 44 copies and the LSP didin´t triggered.

I don't see a problem with copies casting the same turn with the timer in place. This would make TYS somewhat viable again.
One person has suggested a 180 secs timer which I think is brilliant; 90secs fall short for legitimate loops

I don´t see it either. I like this way.  I just don´t know if it´s a bug with the new patch or a new (old) feature.

This is totally fine (and actually something I suggested the other day).

Its not an infinite loop for the AI because of the timer, and its not an infinite loop for you because you don't have to cast Quasiduplicate.  Sounds like a win-win for me

I want the copies to cast immediately and I want expansion to copy BSZ so that everyone cries out and it gets an appropriate balance adjustment

naru meha adjustment - exile the spell after it is copied, same for quasiduplicate, same for expansion

I don't think it's at all fine that Expansion can copy BSZ again. It's far too powerful.

This copies change has been made without a single thought towards card balance.

I play tested decks with and without expension. The timer makes expension redundant; there is no competitive advantage using expension. Both decks with or without expension reach the same plateau with timer.
In this current state, expansion would go true infinite without the timer. With the timer in place, expansion is essentially a waste of valuable slot you could use for a better card.
    Try it yourself.

I run Naru and Quas and I was down right giddy when I saw it working this way. I’ll admit it’s one sided with those cards but I was excited thinking they may have reversed the rule saying you can’t cast copies the same turn. I can get out of the loop as the controller of the cards and if the LPS is working so can anyone who plays against the deck. So I’m good with it. Has anyone tried Thousand Year Storm? I don’t have that card (and stopped trying to get it after the no copies rule).

Thousand year storm is back to its release impliemntation.  Spells are copied and cast the same turn.

Is there any evidence showing this change was intentional?

This isn't the first time a reversion occurred... hibernium was notorious for that long before Oktagon. There's been a reversion of some sort with every update that had ever occurred in this game.  Some small ones and some big ones... but it's one of the few things you can count on happening whenever an update occurs.

So yeah,  I'm sure they thought of the balance,  hence they wouldn't have created the delayed casting of copies in the first place. no?

For the record,  expansion has always been able to cast BSZ. Just not the copy of BSZ same turn. But I'm sure that's what you meant

I hated the delayed copy mechanic... but after having played with it some.  I now admit I was being a spoiled elitist brat about it and accepted the system as a healthier mechanic to the game.  Without it,  yeah I can expansion/BSZ the living daylights out of my opponent. And truthfully it is a very powerful combo.  But then again Omniscience had never been tweaked so.... potato-potahto
