I haven't really seen any posts regarding the new update, so I want to show some appreciation. All of the changes I have encountered so far are great. Everything is an improvement and I'm really pleased with the work that went into it, because even the smallest of changes made big differences. Thanks for the awesome update D3P.

I am struggling with the new interface, I miss when abilities light up.
  • I'm missing the flashing too tbh. Also the clear animations are getting really distracting.

I wonder if they could make through bars flash a little more obviously.

Just to give a counterpoint, I don't want more flashing, wish the buttons would throb more slowly, and think the sound it makes when switching/activating abilities is rather annoying. I do like that all the stones on the board don't flash now, as it makes the screen less busy. I'm not a fan of some of the ancillary animations (like showing the energy trailing up to the bars, but I can live with it.
  • I miss all the flashing stones! Made the game more exciting. I like the new interface but I don't realize that my abilities are ready now. I guess I need to get used to it...the designer in me wants to touch up interface abit and move things around. There seems to be more dead space at the top and bottom of the screen.
  • I'm getting used to the new UI, and personally if there's one thing I wish I could do, it's keep the hero area staying where it is when I make a move. Like if I dragged over to view the enemy AP, don't centre the view again when I move. Or make it a toggle. Similarly, glowing tiles for powers could also be a toggle.

Lastly, I'd love to be able to press on a coloured tile again and see how much I have and which skills my heroes have. The update removed that I think, so we have to go through each character's skill screen to compare.

Minor quibbles though, ideally moving towards perfection. I'll say that whoever's been working on the graphics portion of the UI did a great job. Very pretty with nice animations (readied skills, the powers sub menus, etc.) I like seeing that every aspect of the game is being considered when making improvements/changes.
