Unable to join/create coalitions

in MtGPQ Bugs & Technical Issues
My apologies if this has been addressed before but I couldn't find anything on the topic when searching through the forum. Since starting the game I have been unable to join or start a coalition, always getting the pop-up message "Error: something went wrong..." when I try. I'm playing on Android and have linked my Google Play account if that has any bearing on things, and am currently at player level 26. Has anyone else encountered this or is there a known way to fix it? If my account needs identified I can provide whatever is the best way to do so. Thanks in advance for any advice. :)

    Another coalition-only event on the horizon and I'm still completely locked out of this part of the game. Can I get some kind of response regarding this please?
